Getting yourself ready - understanding what’s involved

At Oxford Day Surgery the comfort of our patients is of paramount importance. While our highly skilled and trained staffed will ensure your experience is the safest and most comfortable possible, it’s a good idea to get an understanding of what your procedure will involve.

What happens when surgery is booked?

The surgery booking and related processes will then be taken care of by our administration team, who will:

  • Book the surgery
  • Explain paperwork, fees and health insurance cover.

Our experienced and highly trained nurses will take care of you during surgery as well as after surgery (wound care, stitch removal).
